Preparing the exhibits

Preparations for our next exhibition “Cityscapes in Anime Background Art” at the Yoshiro and Yoshio Taniguchi Museum of Architecture in Kanazawa are in full swing.

Here, the teams of the museum and our partner Eizo Workshop are busy preparing the background artwork of Patlabor 1 & 2 and Ghost in the Shell by Hiromasa Ogura and Shuichi Kusamori.

These works will be on display from 16 June to 19 November 2023.

Laser measurement is used to figure out the dimensions of the artwork without touching it. The exact dimensions are a pre-requisite for framing the artwork.
