Posters mounted on aluminum composite
Our mounted posters offer a unique visual effect, appearing to "float" in front of the wall. The frameless and borderless presentation adds a touch of elegance and lightness to their aesthetic. By foregoing glass, the texture of our quality paper stands out, lending its own subtle tone to the display.
It is the quality of our prints that sets us apart and we strive to find new and innovative ways to showcase our catalog. Our posters are lithographic prints on Magno Volume paper with a satin texture and finish.
In the past, we received numerous requests to offer framed posters. However, there are two main issues with this proposal. Firstly, there's the practical challenge of shipping glass frames in the 70 x 50 cm format, which would greatly hinder delivery efficiency. Secondly, framing the posters behind glass detracts from the true texture of the beautiful paper. Using high-quality glass is commendable. Using no glass is better.
The posters are laminated to a 3 mm thick aluminum composite panel (Dibond) which guarantees perfect flatness and stability. At the same time, the construction is lightweight yet durable. The poster is easy to mount on the wall with our specially developed hanging system.
Backside of the panel. The picture hook system designed by Andreas Mass consists of three elements: the main hook at the top and two spacers at the bottom to the level the poster’s tilt. Check out our article about the making of this great system.
The picture hook itself has a modular design. As standard, it holds the poster at a distance of 20 mm from the wall. However, distances of 15 mm and 25 mm are also possible, which we produce on special request. This picture shows the hook upside down when mounted on the panel.
The spacers at the bottom are variable in height.
The spacer consists of two parts: the base element, which is attached to the panel, and the cap, which is screwed onto it. The height of the spacer can be variably adjusted from 19 to 24 mm. This allows the inclination of the poster to be precisely adjusted, even on irregular walls.
